Speech-Language Pathology Clinic
The William B. Dean, M.D. Center for Language and Literacy Development encompasses a speech-language teaching clinic for East Texas Baptist University’s Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program to focus on training and equipping individuals to serve and lead as professionals providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for individuals of all ages with disorders or delays in language, language-literacy, speech, and cognition.
Through the no-cost Speech-Language Pathology clinic, East Texas Baptist University is committed to delivering exceptional care for clients while providing hands-on clinical training for our graduate student clinicians, all under the supervision of certified and licensed speech-language pathologists.
Speech Therapy Services
Assessment and treatment for children and adults with concerns in the following areas:- Speech & Phonology
- Language & Literacy
- Social Communication
- Stuttering
- Accent Modification
- Cognitive Impairments (e.g., post-stroke or injury)
- Swallowing
