The William B. Dean, M.D. Center for Language and Literacy Development encompasses a speech-language teaching clinic for East Texas Baptist University’s Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program to focus on training and equipping individuals to serve and lead as professionals providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for individuals of all ages with disorders or delays in language, language-literacy, speech, and cognition.

Through the no-cost Speech-Language Pathology clinic, East Texas Baptist University is committed to delivering exceptional care for clients while providing hands-on clinical training for our graduate student clinicians, all under the supervision of certified and licensed speech-language pathologists.

Speech Therapy Services

Assessment and treatment for children and adults with concerns in the following areas:
All speech therapy services are provided by ETBU speech-language pathology graduate students under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.

Appointments & Contact

The William B. Dean, M.D. Center for Language and Literacy Development is open to the public. Appointments are available Monday through Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings.

Directions & Parking

The William B. Dean, M.D. Center for Language and Literacy Development is located in Synergy Park at 100 N. Bolivar Street in the heart of downtown Marshall, on the third floor, suite 302. Guest and client parking is available on the east side of the building. The west entrance remains locked at all times.
